Processing of data

The subject of data protection is personal data. According to Art. 4(1) DSGVO, these are all information relating to identified or identifiable persons. Every access to our homepage and retrieval of files stored on the homepage, is logged in server log files. The storage serves internal system-related and statistical purposes. Logged are:

No such transfer of your data takes place on this homepage without your consent.

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

You have the right to object at any time to processing of your data based on legitimate interest due to a specific personal situation. To object, simply send us a message stating the reasons for your objection.

Our online presence contains links to other websites. This data protection declaration does not extend to other providers. We have no influence on whether their operators comply with data protection regulations.

Analysis tools and advertising

Matomo

This website uses the open source web analysis service Matomo.

With the help of Matomo, we are able to collect and analyse data about your use of our website. (e.g. which pages are viewed and from which region they came). We can also measure whether our website visitors perform certain actions (e.g. clicks, use of forms and on-page links, etc.).

IP anonymization

We use IP anonymization for the analysis with Matomo. This means that your IP address is shortened before analysis so that it can no longer be clearly assigned to you.

Hosting

We host Matomo exclusively on our own servers, so that all analysis data remains with us and is not passed on.

Vimeo

We also use videos from the company Vimeo on our website. The video portal is operated by Vimeo LLC, 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA. With the help of a plug-in, we can show you interesting video material directly on our website. In the process, certain data may be transferred from you to Vimeo. In this data protection declaration, we will show you what data is involved, why we use Vimeo and how you can manage or prevent your data or the data transfer.

If consent has been given for the use of these tools, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) as defined by the TTDSG. Our presence in social networks

We link our online presences in social networks. Any data processed from the content, we may use in order to communicate with active users. So we are able to offer information about us. We are jointly responsible with the operator on these pages and therefore inform you separately when you visit our pages

We would like to point out that in the process, user data may be processed outside the area of the European Union. This may result in risks for users because, for example, it could make it more difficult to enforce users' rights.

Furthermore, user data is usually processed within social networks for market research and advertising purposes. For example, usage profiles can be created based on the usage behaviour and interests of the users. The usage profiles may in turn be used, for example, to place advertisements within and outside the networks, that presumably correspond to the interests of the users.

For certain processing activities on our social media profiles on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, we are jointly responsible with the platform operator pursuant to Art. 26 DSGVO. We will inform you separately there.

We have a profile on LinkedIn. The provider is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. LinkedIn uses advertising cookies.
